Always wanted to give paddling a go?
Come on down and we will show you around the Club, explain the membership process and put you in a boat for a try if you wish*
If you cannot make it on the day, please contact us to make alternative arrangements with our membership officer
*** children need to be registered too
The number of people in the group who will paddle depends on the number of instructors on the day. This could mean that some registered people will not paddle – we will take people on a first registered first in basis. Consider wearing a mask when inside.
At this stage we have allocated 10 places per session but
this is dependent on the number of instructors available on the day (we are all volunteers)
if we have only 1 instructor the session will be a tour through the club and some basic instruction on the land
if we have 2 instructors we will have one teaching on the land and one of the water with 6 only
this will mean that the first 6 registered people will get to paddle; the others will be on land only
if we have 3 instructors we will have one teaching on the land and two on the water with 10 people
we have to work to strict ratios and we hope you will understand this.
the first 10 registered people will go on the water; any more than this will be on a waiting list

*please bring a change of clothes and old sneakers or beachcombers if paddling – you may end up wet and cold and we have great change rooms and hot showers if you need! Wear synthetic or woollen clothing. No cotton – if wet it stays cold.
