Morning four, taking off in the fog

Our tour began from Bendeela camping ground in the Kangaroo Valley, NSW.

Our first day saw us paddle past Tallowa Dam and up Bundanoon Creek. The water level was quite low so weren’t able to reach one of our favourite spots.

Our favourite spot – not able to be reached

Seven of our members paddled on the Murray River from Yarrawonga to Tocumwal over four days in the first week of May. All food, gear and water are carried in the kayaks.

If you haven’t visited this area, it is beautiful: sandy beaches, bird life, a lovely flowing river and at this time of year a refreshing solitude with friends.
