1. Come and Try Days

Come and Try Days allow people to have a paddle and see how our club works

We have two sessions on the first Sunday of each month: 10 am and 11 am starts

The $10 fee for adults is refundable if you join the club (children free)

2. Induction Sessions

As part of your membership these sessions provide basic skills and safety knowledge

Classes are run on Saturday mornings, 9-12 noon, in the fortnight after the Come n Try (see the calendar https://essendon.paddle.org.au/calendar/)

Participants must do a wet exit (capsize) as part of the training

3. Joining the Club

To join as a new member

Contact the club first at essendoncanoeclub@gmail.com
Then take out a membership with Paddle Australia (choose Essendon Canoe Club) at https://paddle.org.au/join/
Once you are on our list we will contact you with further details

Fees

12 months membership from joining date
The $25 key deposit is refundable if you leave the club
The $75 helper levy is refunded when you contribute to the club: help at a working bee or come n try day
Adults $390, including the above charges
Child $110 (must be accompanied by an adult)
Families: we offer substantial discounts for families. Please contact the club.
